People are Nice
We've been getting so many nice emails from people who are wishing our Bubby a speedy recovery. Since we don't have any new letters to post from her right now (she's not quite up to it yet) we thought we'd share some of the love we've been getting from *you*:
"I just saw on your site that you are not feeling the best right now...I wish for you a speedy recovery! You certainly have been a ray of sunshine...I enjoy reading your advice, even when the issues do not pertain at all to me...you are so sweet and I hope you feel well soon! Take care, dear!"
"I wanted to write to let you know how much I enjoy reading your advice. It is funny and warm and brightens my journey through grad school. Best wishes to you and I hope you feel better soon."
"I have enjoyed your blog for a long time. I'm a daily, avid reader. I heard you're not feeling well . I hope you feel better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. WHAT'S A GOOD RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE BLINTZES???!!!!"
"I've heard that you haven't been feeling well. This makes me ferklempt, (though I don't know how to spell that). I hope that you are feeling better and better every day. I know that your granddaughters and your family are taking wonderful care of you. I hope they are making you eat lots of chicken soup and supplying endless hugs. To do my part, I'm sending cyber hugs and lots of love. All the best, a loyal fan tried and true."
If anyone knows a great recipe to share with J. for blintzes, send them in to us and we'll post them on the site (and give you credit if you wish). We do admit, we *love* our Bubby's blintzes (made with cottage cheese, or potatoes) - and this reminds us we must get her recipe into our *own* kitchens!
Thanks again to all,
