"Listen To Bubby" | Session #3
We live in a crazy world. Sometimes it can just bring you down. But is there a silver lining? Is there an optimistic spin on this seemingly crumbling cultural climate? Bubby seems to think so! And she's about to tell this next writer all about it.
Sshh... Let's listen in...
Dear Bubby,
It seems like every time we turn on the TV, there's a horrible thing to hear about. West Nile Virus, Avian Flu, the pandemic that I keep hearing about that will wipe out millions, floods, earthquakes and hurricanes.
I'm 21, and have been noticing this more and more. Is the world coming to an end, or is it simply that I am getting older and the woes of the world are becoming my own? The natural disasters of my youth seemed so small, so far away.
I have hobbies, a wonderful boyfriend and work, so it's not as though I dwell on these things full time, but sometimes they haunt me at night and make me very anxious... What's a girl to do?
Giving Myself an Ulcer

This was recorded just for you!
2 OPINIONS ADDED
Thank you very much Bubby. I guess I oftentimes forget that there are people working to make the world better as well as those who try to make it worse.
Your insight has been greatly appreciated.
