Nu? Where are we?
Ever so sorry for the delay of posts. We're so happy our vanishing act hasn't stopped you from writing more letters to Bubby. Keep 'em coming! She's been feeling a bit under the weather lately so we've been taking a small break. However, we're going to be posting more and more "Update" letters from our readers. So-- if Bubby has shared some advice with you in the past, PLEASE write to us and let us know your story now. We'll share your letter on the blog. (P.S. Have you noticed you can now post comments under the letters?)
And thanks to everyone who has bought one of Bubby's t-shirts. This particular shirt has been the most popular, so if you want to be one of the cool kids, you definitely need to get one. And this, too. Thanks to Debrah Soloman for posting a real sweet review of the book on our page.
And now for today's update...
On June 24, we received a letter from a new graduate who called himself, "Waiting" (incidentally, the pseudonym 'Waiting' is by far THE most popular cover-up name we receive). This particular "Waiting" was an artist, and trying to figure out how to make the most of his career. Bubby advised, "If you want to get into the art world, you must concentrate on writing letters and submitting your portfolio to firms that are producing work that you want."
Well, we decided to hook "Waiting" up with a little link action of our own. A while after he sent his letter, he wrote back to us and shared the website for his art portfolio. We told him we'd share it with you all, and that's exactly what we're doing today. Go on, visit: StevenPhillips.org. He's talented, and he deserves today's spotlight.
Keep writing!
love, the granddaughters
