Hello Bubby,

I am a 24 year old man from England. I don't know why I'm writing this to you but it seems easier to talk to a machine than real people.

I'm going through a rough patch at the moment. A relationship I have been in for six years is coming to an end and I'm scared about the future. I know I could try and talk my partner into keeping us alive but I know in my heart she isn't in love with me anymore.

I'm scared about going out in to the world alone, I have to rearrange my life to cope on my own and I'm feeling useless. I don't think anyone can help me with this but thanks for listening.

Sad Guy

Dear Sad Guy,

I am sorry to hear that you know that you and your partner's relationship is turning cold. First of all, you do not tell me if the partner is male or female but that does not matter. If the result is negative, just know that all good things end at some time or another.

Say, "SO LONG, GOOD LUCK" and find new friends. It may take some time but you will find many. I hope you do.

Good Luck,

2 OPINIONS ADDED

if she doesn't like being with you first of all try to know what is
the problem which prevents her to love you. if the problem between you and your partner is not so serious try to discuss it and eliminate the misconceptions between you and her. then you will see that everything will be as usuall and you will feel much better and enjoy together once more again.
but if you find that under no circumstance you cannot make better anything give up to try to convince her and break up with her and try to clear your mind of all past expriences. beause continuing such a relationship jus. I know at first it will be hard to you but believe you can young and there are some upportunities ahead of you and you are not suppose to be alone.

Bubby is our 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93 94 year old grandmother.
A few years ago we introduced her to the internet and we've been getting daily e-mails from her ever since. When she was 87, we began this website. We now believe she is the oldest blogger on the Internet.

Whether Bubby is reminding us that boyfriends do not substitute for warm jackets in the winter, or that it's better to receive a compliment than a brick, she always has something to say to her granddaughters.

Now with this new website, Bubby can finally share her wisdom with the rest of the world. And she's excited about it! (Which confuses us, because she used to say we were all she needed.)

Hopefully this will be as much fun for new readers as it will surely be for her. And if not, well, as Bubby says, it will all come out in the wash.

So, are you looking for advice on food, work, a broken heart, or the perfect bat mitzvah present?

But no dirty words allowed or you'll only get one matzah ball.
